The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is a full
fairing motorcycle and the engine is powered by the 200cc as same as the naked
bike NS200.
The Pulsar RS200 is the first sports motorcycle which is fully-faired launched by the Bajaj in India. And so far the RS200 is considered as the fastest fully-faired motorcycle launched by the company in the pulsar segments.
The RS200 comes with the clip-on handlebar which is much more comfortable but it has less aggression compare to some of the fully-fairing motorcycles like ktm RC200, YZF-R15.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is much more of a touring sports bike because of
the clip-on handlebar and the riding position, unlike sports motorcycles.
The engine is fuel injected and carries out 24.5 bhp and rpm of 9750 and
maximum torque of 18.6 Nm at 8000 rpm. Although the BS3 engine is more powerful
and gains more of top speed compared to BS4 engine. As tested by the
professional riders the bs3 reached the top speed of 151km/hr(Approx) and bs4
has able to manage 144km/hr which is a bit less compared to bs3.
if you talk about the sports bike yes bajaj is a sports bike but this is not much of a track bike and it will not give you that kind of feelings or aggression of super sports bike where it is much of a road bike, to be honest.
But Bajaj has done a great job even though the bike has got a clip-on handlebar it is very much precise and gives confidence while cornering and it is not bad either, and the MRF Zapper tyres which provide much of a grip and let the rider gain more confidence for the cornering.
The bajaj first launched the abs only in Pulsar RS200, and it is single-channel abs. And it comes with two variant the non-abs and the abs version.
The front suspension comes with the telescopic fork and the rear suspension comes with mono-shock.
So I recommend who looks for much comfort and speed too I suggest going with RS200 because it brings touring abilities too.
